I had to take my machine in to have it looked at last week.   The hands free system just quit working.I LOVE my knee lifter!!I just need it to function.So they found the cable had frayed and they had to order a part.I ended up having to haul out the 770.  I sewed up some of the left over flannel I had into burp cloths.I am trying to use up left over MinkyWhen I was in Berlin they had these

I have been on a burp cloth making kick.  I had SO many cut out already.  I was cleaning in my room and decided that if I sewed up everything I had cut maybe it would make a little more space.  Hardly, LOL.  I will be destashing when I get back from NC so I have been putting fabric into bins for the big destash too.I listed the burp cloths in my ETSY shop if you are interested in purchasing one

I always pick up flannel and Minky (and sometimes lux fleece) remnants when I go to JAF.   I have amassed quite a few of all of these.   I use the flannel for burp cloths and we not sure about the Minky.   Until I figured out how to make self binding blankets!   Shanon fabrics has a free pattern and there are LOADS of video tutorials on You Tube.   I will show you how I did mine tomorrow
